Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Generative Topology Inc. (“Chronode”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our website and services (the “Services”). It also describes your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (collectively, “CCPA”).
Who we are
The data controller is Generative Topology Inc., 1500 N Grant St Ste R, Denver, CO 80203, United States. For privacy questions, contact privacy@chronode.net. Our Data Protection Officer can be reached at dpo@chronode.net.
Information we collect
- Account information — name, email address, and credentials you provide when you register.
- Subscription & billing information — plan, billing cycle, and transaction records processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
- Sports analysis inputs — fixtures, teams, leagues, report requests, analyst notes, uploaded sports datasets, or model configuration choices you submit.
- Usage data — pages viewed, features used, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Services and generate sports analysis outputs.
- To process subscriptions, billing, and customer support.
- To communicate service notices and, with your consent, marketing messages.
- To maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
How AI sports analysis is generated
Chronode is a vertical AI model for sports event analysis. The model is trained and operated for sports event analysis only, using sports event data such as fixtures, event streams, tracking data, team and player statistics, lineups, schedule context, venue context, and historical results.
Where we use third-party AI or infrastructure providers to generate sports analysis outputs, they act as our processors: submitted inputs are transmitted to them solely to provide the requested output. We do not use your personal information to train AI models, and we do not permit our AI providers to use it to train theirs, unless you separately give explicit opt-in consent.
Sports analysis inputs
Sports analysis inputs should describe sports events, teams, players, competitions, or analyst workflow preferences. Do not submit sensitive personal information unless it is necessary and lawful for your use case. You can delete account-level inputs by emailing privacy@chronode.net.
Profiling and personalization
Features such as saved watchlists, fixture alerts, and model-factor preferences involve profiling of your usage and sports analysis preferences. This profiling has no legal or similarly significant effect on you, and you can object at any time (see “Your rights” below). We do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Legal bases for processing (GDPR)
- Contract — to provide the Services you subscribe to.
- Consent — for non-essential cookies and marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — to secure, analyze, and improve the Services, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable law.
How we share information
We share personal information with service providers (hosting, payment processing, analytics, email) who process it on our behalf under contract, and where required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information for money. Certain sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising may be treated as a “sale” or “share” under the CCPA — see below.
International transfers
Where personal information is transferred outside your jurisdiction, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, then for the period required to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Indicative periods:
- Account information — for the life of your account, then deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
- Sports analysis inputs and outputs — until you delete them, or within 30 days of account deletion where technically feasible.
- Billing and transaction records — as required by tax and accounting law (typically up to 7 years).
- Consent records — up to 5 years from your last interaction, for compliance evidence.
- Usage logs — up to 12 months.
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to processing of your personal information, and the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, email privacy@chronode.net. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Your rights (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and obtain a portable copy of their personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, the right to limit use of sensitive personal information, and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. If we share personal information in ways that constitute a “sale” or “share” under the CCPA (for example, certain analytics or advertising cookies), you may opt out. Use the Cookie settings link in the footer to disable analytics and marketing cookies, or email privacy@chronode.net with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share”. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of sale or sharing for the browser it is sent from.
Children
The Services are intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised “Last updated” date.
